Bob Rosinski resigned as Glenbrook South’s baseball coach on Monday for personal reasons, Titans athletic director Steve Rockrohr said. Rosinski remains a physical education teacher at the school, according to Rockrohr.

The resignation was effective Monday, Rockrohr said, and hiring for a replacement was under way.

In Rosinski’s five seasons, the Titans won games, especially the last two seasons, but they didn’t experience much success in the playoffs. In the last two seasons, Glenbrook South went 47-17, but the club didn’t win a regional title. During Rosinski’s run, the Titans captured two regional championships (2008, 2010).

Last spring, the Titans finished 23-8, losing their postseason opener to Highland Park, the eventual sectional champion.

Glenbrook South graduated two standouts in Sully Stadler and Zach Jones. Stadler now plays at Indiana, and Jones is at Northwestern.
