Marvie Keith, a 5-10 senior point guard, is averaging 15.6 points and 5 assists per game. The University Park resident is one of the area’s top playmakers.

State title game. You’re in it. What team do you most like to beat for the championship? Why?

Simeon. They’re the toughest team in the state.

What’s in your iPod?

Drake, Chief Keef, Meek Mill.

How do your parents react to the music you listen to?

My mom says, “How do you listen to that music? I didn’t listen to music like that.”

Are you a fan of “old-school” artists like Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye, James Brown? What about Prince?

Oh, lord. I don’t listen to any of that. It puts me to sleep.

You’re stranded on a deserted island. You could have an endless supply of one food. What would it be?

A bacon cheeseburger from Applebee’s.

Given the chance, what person, dead or alive, would you most like to meet? Why?

LeBron (James). He carries himself so strong on and off the court.

When you hear the name Michael Jordan. What first comes to mind?

The greatest to ever play the game.

Better than LeBron?

Yeah. But I think LeBron will eventually be better.

What’s your go-to move in a game of H-O-R-S-E?

Halfcourt shot.

If you could have your pick, what celebrity would you choose as your prom date?

Lauren London.

You’re ruler of the sports world for a day. What do you change?

You’d be able to trash-talk more without getting a technical foul.
