Judkins, a 5-foot-7 guard, was expected to return from a torn ACL incurred during an AAU summer game, but instead has been advised to sit out his senior season. The Robbins native has remained a vocal supporter of his teammates despite the setback.

What’s it been like having to sit and watch your teammates play?

It’s been very difficult, especially in those certain situations when they need me.

Despite being out for the season, you’ve chose to attend all games, home and away. Why?

I just want to be there for whatever they need me to do. To go get water, whatever. I try to motivate the team with a speech whenever they need it, before, during or after a game.

State title game. You’re in it. Which team would you most like to beat for the championship? Why?

Simeon. They’re one of the best teams in the nation.

You’re stranded on a deserted island. You could have an endless supply of one food. What would it be?

Lobster.

What person, dead or alive, would you most like to meet? Why?

Allen Iversen. I love his passion for the game and how he gives 110 percent.

What’s the most important value your parents have instilled in you?

Always be honest, loyal and committed.

If you could have your pick, what celebrity would you choose as your prom date?

Meagan Good.

Ten years from now, when you’re talking about coach John Chappetto, what will first come to mind?

How he’s a yeller, but it works.

What do you do better than anybody?

Commitment and dedication. I never quit.
